Traffic park, the idea initially conceptualized from a student project submitted to Department of Science & technology, Jaipur constructed in Science Park , Shastri Nagar jointly by Traffic Police, Jaipur, Department of Science & Technology , Jaipur and JDA with with an investment of RS 2. million has been inaugurated on 10th Of August 2006 by hon'ble Transport Minister Yunus Khan , in the presence of Guests of Honor Sh. Mohan Lal Gupta , MLA (kishanpole) and Sh. D.B. gupta , JDA Commissioner .

About 2 acres of land in Science Park is exclusively demarked & developed as Traffic Park section out of total land 5.5 acres.

The park displays information about zebra crossings, speed breakers, traffic signals and precautions to be taken while driving vehicles. It also makes clear the differences in traffic signals on highways and highlights ways to read directions on signposts. The park also emphasises the guidelines for pedestrians, information about over bridges and island crossings.

Attractive models of bus stops, petrol pumps, telephone booths and post offices have been constructed for demonstration purposes.
